By accessing or using the Hermetic Labs Triage (HALT) website, software, documentation, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hermetic Labs, LLC.
HALT — Hermetic Anonymous Local Triage — is a free, open-source, offline-capable field medical coordination system. It is designed to assist with patient triage, tracking, and communication in austere environments including conflict zones, disaster response, and resource-limited settings.
The HALT software is provided as open-source under its applicable license. You may download, use, and modify the software in accordance with the license terms published in the project's source repository.
This website (7hermeticlabs.health) provides informational content about the HALT system, including features, documentation, download links, and donation facilities.
HALT is a coordination and record-keeping tool. It does NOT replace trained medical professionals, clinical judgment, or established medical protocols. All triage decisions, diagnoses, and treatment plans must be made by qualified medical personnel.
HALT includes AI-powered features (powered by Google's MedGemma and similar models) that provide suggestions for differential diagnosis, drug interactions, and clinical decision support. These AI outputs are informational aids only and must never be used as the sole basis for clinical decisions. AI suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a given patient's circumstances.
Nothing in the Services — including AI outputs, MARCH protocol guidance, treatment plan suggestions, or clinical decision support — constitutes medical advice. The Services do not create a doctor-patient relationship.

HALT provides multilingual support in 42 languages. While every effort has been made to ensure translation quality, machine-generated translations of medical terminology may contain errors. Critical medical communications should always be verified by a qualified human translator when patient safety is at stake.
