The HALT triage software is designed to operate entirely offline. No patient data, clinical records, triage decisions, or usage telemetry is ever transmitted to Hermetic Labs or any third party. All data stays on the local device running the software.

2.1 What the Software Does NOT Collect

  • Patient names, medical records, or health information
  • Device identifiers, GPS coordinates, or location data
  • Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry
  • Network traffic or communication metadata

2.2 Local AI Processing

All AI-assisted features (MedGemma, translation, voice synthesis) run entirely on the local device. No queries, prompts, or outputs are sent to external servers.

2.3 User Responsibility

Users deploying HALT in clinical settings are solely responsible for the physical security of devices containing patient data and compliance with applicable health data protection laws (HIPAA, GDPR, local equivalents).
